I was totally blown away by how absolutely delicious this is. I mean, we LOVED it.
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. Olive oil
1 lb. Ground turkey
½ C. Onion chopped
1 Can tomato sauce 15oz.
2 Cans Diced tomatoes 15 oz. each
1 Tbsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Medium cabbage chopped
15 oz. Ricotta cheese
1 C. Mozzarella cheese shredded
Chopped parsley for garnish if desired
How to make Delicious Cabbage Casserole:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. In a deep-sided skillet or pot on the stove, heat the olive oil, ground turkey and onion over medium-high heat. Continue to cook until the turkey is completely browned.

Step 3. Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, oregano, and salt and pepper to taste to the pot and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4. Place half of the shredded cabbage in the bottom of a well-greased casserole dish.
Step 5. Add ½ of the turkey sauce mixture over the cabbage.
Step 6. Top the turkey sauce layer with the other half of the cabbage.
Step 7. Spread the rest of the turkey sauce mixture over the cabbage.
Step 8. Place a layer of ricotta cheese over the casserole, and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.

Step 9. Cover the casserole dish with tin foil, and bake for 40 minutes.
Step 10. Remove the foil, and bake for another 15 minutes before serving.
