Why I Love Garlic Lime Shrimp?

  • I love garlic and I usually use it in all my recipes so that’s one of the reasons that I love garlic lime shrimp. The smell of garlic lime shrimp is great which makes it really appetizing.
  • It’s a very easy recipe and doesn’t require much of your time for preparation.
  • It’s a great recipe for all sea food lovers.

Can You Cook Shrimp In Lime Juice?

Of course, you can cook shrimp in lime juice as lime extract denatures the protein that are present in the shrimp which causes the pH to drop and does the same effect as heating. This is a method of cooking seafood without heating it.

Can You Eat Raw Shrimp With Lime?

The lime extract is acidic in nature hence it is totally safe to consume raw shrimp with lime. The reason for that is the lime juice actually kills and breaks down all the bacteria and turns the shrimp from pellucid to cloudy if marinated for about fifteen minutes.

How To Serve Garlic Lime Shrimp?

You can use garlic shrimp lime as a starter as well as a main course by serving it out with some tortilla pieces of bread, a bowl of pasta or maybe with sticky rice. People who like couscous can also pair some garlic limp shrimp with it.You can also serve it with some Mexican dips and roasted veggies on the side.
