You only need 6 ingredients and it’s wonderful for any occasion.

You can adapt it to your own palate, swapping the pudding for another flavor as long as it’s instant pudding, or using another kind of pie filling. There are plenty of add-ins to choose from, and you can opt for crispy, chewy or nutty flavors.

- Angel food cake
- Instant vanilla pudding
- Milk
- Sour cream
- Cherry pie filling
- Cool Whip thawed

How to make Heaven On Earth Cake:
Step 1. Tear the angel food cake into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2. Spread half of the cake pieces in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
Step 3. In a bowl, whisk together the milk, sour cream, and pudding. Rest until the pudding has been set.
Step 4. Spread ½ of the cherry pie filling over the cake in the baking dish.
Then top with the remaining cake pieces.
Step 5. Spread the pudding over the second layer of cake.
Step 6. Spread the Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
Then decorate the top of the cake with the remaining cherry pie filling. Chill for several hours before serving.
This no-bake cake doesn’t involve much effort and there’s no baking required at all. You can combine cake with pie filling, instant pudding and more to create your own version, and consider add-ins like white chocolate chips, dried cranberries or anything else you want to add to jazz it up.

- 1 Box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 ½ C. Milk
- 1 C. Sour cream
- 1 Can Cherry pie filling

Instructions

Storage Instructions:
Keep it in an airtight container for up to 3 days. This no-bake cake isn’t really a candidate for freezing though because it will be watery and mushy when thawed.
Variations and Substitutions:
You can use any flavor of instant pudding here, or swap the sour cream for yogurt. Greek yogurt is especially creamy and rich. A non-dairy milk would work in place of the regular milk, and you can also use any kind of pie filling you happen to like. Oh, and subbing tangy lemon curd for the sweetened condensed milk offers a tarter flavor for those who don’t like their cakes overly sweet.
