A hobo dinner foil packet is a foil-wrapped meal which is ideal for cooking on the go or camping. You just have to pick out your ingredients, enclose them in a foil package and then cook over the open flame of a camping stove or similar. You can make big ones to feed a crowd or individual portions.

Ingredients:
- Baby potatoes halved
- Ground beef
- Carrots
- Salt
- Onion sliced
- Black pepper
- Olive oil
- Onion powder
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Colby Jack cheese
Instructions:
Step 1. Mix together the ground beef, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Separate the meat into four evenly-sized patties.
Step 2. Place one meat patty into the center of each of four large squares of tin foil.
Step 3. In a mixing bowl, stir together the onion, potatoes, carrots, olive oil, and Italian seasoning.
Mix well.
Step 4. Separate the vegetable mixture evenly between the four sheets of tin foil.
Step 5. Bring the sides of the foil squares up, and fold them over. Fold both ends up and closed to create packets.
Step 6. Place the foil packets on the grill for 45 minutes.
Step 7. Open the packets and sprinkle them with cheese before serving.
