What makes this recipe so exact and perfect?

The recipe is easy to follow, they have the same buttery and fluffy flavor and texture as KFC. They taste great and pair up with any foods you make.

What makes this recipe so different from other biscuit recipes?

I believe that it is the Butter Flavored Crisco shortening that makes this recipe different than the others. The Butter flavored Crisco adds richness to the biscuits.

These look different than the KFC biscuits I grew up with, why?

Much of the appearance comes from the way the biscuits are made. The flavor is the same as you remember. You could knead and roll these out a second time in order to make them fluffier.

Once the biscuits have cooled, they can be placed into an airtight ziplock bag. They will remain fresh for up to 3 or 4 days.

Can I freeze the biscuits?

These biscuits are the perfect food to freeze. The biscuits should be cooled to room temperature and then placed into a freezer-safe Ziploc bag. They can be frozen for up to 3 or 4 months.

How do I reheat the biscuits?

I generally wrap them in foil, place them on a baking tray and reheat them at a low temp in the oven. I heat the oven to 300* and then let the biscuits sit in the oven for about 10 minutes.
