We decided to invite some friends over a while back, and I wanted a dessert that was going to knock their socks off. I did some brainstorming and knew without a doubt, it needed to be some kind of cheesecake. After thinking, I finally came up with the best dessert ever…Mini Oreo Cheesecakes! Y’all are going to be mad at me for waiting so long to share this cupcake tin dessert so long.

Everyone at the party was so happy when I showed them these Oreo cheesecake cupcakes. They every last one, and I didn’t even end up with any leftovers.

Can I Make These In Advance

Absolutely! These Oreo cheesecake bites are easy to make in advance. I love making them a day or so in advance because it gives them time to develop the texture and flavors even more. Storing the Oreo cheesecake cupcakes in an airtight container is key.

Also, never put them in the fridge if they are warm, or condensation will develop, and they may become mushy.

How to Store Cheesecake

First, let the mini Oreo cheesecakes cool all the way, then place them inside of an airtight container. They will last in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Honestly, we have a hard time ever keeping them around for that long, though, because we devour them pretty much right away. I’m sure you will be able to relate. 🙂

Can You Freeze These Mini Cheesecakes

Yes, these Oreo cheesecake cupcakes are wonderful to freeze. Again, keep them airtight, and they will last in the freezer for up to 3 months. You can eat them frozen or place them in the fridge to thaw.

If you are in a hurry, you can set them out on the counter for 30 minutes or so and dig in!

Variations To Recipes

There are many things you can do to these mini Oreo cheesecakes to change the flavor. Let’s take a look at a few of my top ideas.

  • Mint Oreos: Use crushed mint Oreos instead of regular. They will give you a burst of minty flavor in every bite.
  • Peanut Butter Oreos: Another favorite method of mine is using peanut butter Oreos. They are rich and incredible.
  • Melted chocolate: Drizzle some melted chocolate on top of the finished cheesecakes. They will look gourmet and extra elegant.
