Why I Love Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges?

- The perfect combination of spices with crispy potatoes is so satisfying.
- This recipe can be served alongside breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

How Long Should Wedges Be In The Oven For?
Most people cook their wedges for around 25 minutes. If you want a crispier wedge, cook longer, checking the potatoes every few minutes to avoid burning them.
Why Are My Potato Wedges Not Crispy?
- Soft potatoes may not have been cooked long enough
- The oven temperature isn’t high enough to crisp the wedges.
- Potatoes that are less starchy than others won’t crisp as well.
- The potatoes have been in storage for too long.
- Potatoes that have been stored in a location that’s too cold won’t crisp.
Shall the Wedges Be Soaked in Hot or Cold Water Before Baking?
Cold water is best for soaking. Ice water is even better! Soak the freshly cut wedges for about 20 minutes before moving forward with the recipe. This helps to remove some of the starch from the potatoes, giving you a crispier result with less sticking together.
Can You Marinate Potato Wedges Overnight?
Yes, you can marinate potato wedges. Overnight marinades are great for potatoes because they take a long time and let the flavor soak in. Prepare your wedges, place them in the marinade, and let them sit while you sleep.
