Tips for Success
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or foil to make cleanup and bark removal easy.
- Be sure to boil the butter and sugar mixture for at least 2–3 minutes so it thickens properly before pouring.
- Spread the pecans evenly over the graham crackers to ensure each bite has plenty of crunch.
- Let the bark cool completely before breaking it apart to get clean, crisp pieces.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature to keep the bark from getting sticky.
Storage & Reheating
The best way to store pecan pie bark is inside an air-tight plastic container or covered with plastic wrap. Aluminum foil is another option to consider.
You can safely make pecan pie bark 48 hours before you intend to serve it and reheat it once your guests arrive. Be sure to serve it all so you don’t have to store leftovers in the fridge.
