Why I love 15-Minute Loaded Omelette?
Omelets made with tender eggs, veggies, and cheese are great for breakfast or a light dinner, but I always find folding them a bit challenging. This recipe eliminates the need for folding by baking it in the oven. Here’s why I love them.
- Easy to make with no folding.
- Filled with vitamins and minerals from veggies.
- Low cholesterol by using mostly egg whites.
- Loaded with fresh veggies.
What toppings to put in an omelet?
Traditional omelets are made with beaten eggs, cheese, and veggies. Many also contain meats like ham, sausage, or bacon. Veggies range from onions and peppers to spinach, broccoli, and tomatoes.
Should you put milk or yogurt in an omelet?
This recipe calls for Greek yogurt, but you can make an omelet with milk, half and half, sour cream, or even heavy cream, depending on your preferences and what you have on hand.
