I managed to have a crust that was buttery and flaky, yet capable of holding the ingredients of the Cheeseburger. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the result tasted identical to a cheeseburger, but was in a pie form instead. Now that I succeeded, I have to say it is hard to believe that something that seems like it would be difficult was actually quite easy to make. I can’t wait for you to try this one!!

You could certainly make this cheeseburger pie with chicken or turkey. You could also substitute tofu for Ground Beef.

You can switch out the cheese for Mozzarella or Provolone. You could use Pepper Jack cheese. You can add jalapeno peppers to add a touch of heat to the Cheeseburger Pie.

- Lean ground beef 80/20
- Onion, chopped
- Minced garlic
- Cheddar cheese
- Milk
- Onion soup mix
- Bisquick
- Eggs

How to make Impossible Cheeseburger Pie:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2. In a large skillet add your ground beef, garlic, and diced onions.
Step 3. Cook the ground beef mixture over medium heat for several minutes, where the ground beef is browned and the onions translucent.
Step 4. Take the ground beef mixture and drain excess grease.
Step 5. Spray a 9-inch baking dish with a non-stick baking spray.
Step 6. Pour the beef mixture into the baking dish.
Step 7. Add the cheddar cheese to the beef mixture, making sure to spread it evenly.
Step 8. In a medium bowl, add the Bisquick, onion soup mix, eggs, and milk.
Step 9. Whisk until combined.
Step 10. Pour the mixture over the beef, making sure to have it evenly poured.
Step 11. Bake for 25 minutes or until done.
Step 12. Garnish as desired.
