2 tsp. Olive Oil
1 tbsp. Butter
½ cup Onion (Chopped)
¼ tsp. Garlic Powder
3 tbsp. All Purpose Flour
2 cups Fat Free Milk
Salt And Pepper To Taste
2 cups Cheddar Reduced Fat Cheese (Shredded)
How to make this Baked Cauliflower Mac and Cheese:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2. Steam the cauliflower until it is just starting to become tender.
Step 3. Cook the onions in a skillet over medium heat with the butter and olive oil.
Step 4. Stir in the flour, and saute another minute. Mix in the milk a little at a time.
Step 5. Add the garlic powder and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6. Thicken the sauce and then stir in the cheese until it has melted.
Step 7. Toss the cauliflower in the sauce.
Step 8. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 baking dish and bake for 1 hour.
