When I let the kids know what is on the menu for dinner I have all kinds of volunteers to help make dinner. I believe it is because they love the smell of the Stir Fry as it is cooking.
The peppers add a slight crunch and the cabbage is cooked perfectly, not overly crunchy but not totally wilted either.

Could I add red cabbage?
Yes, you can add some red cabbage to this dish. I would use half green and half red, so as not to overrun the dish with too much cabbage.
What can I do if my sauce is too thin?
You could make a bit of cornstarch mixed with water and stir it into the stir fry. This mix will thicken the sauce in the stir fry and help it all meld together.
Can I add other vegetables?
Certainly! You could add carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, or even snow peas. This is a great idea if you decide to leave the meat out of the Stir Fry.
Can I substitute the Ground Beef in this recipe?
You can switch up the meat to chicken or sausage if you would like. You could also eliminate the meat altogether if you want to go that route.
