That is why many people make them at home. But for me, that takes too much time and too much hassle. I like simple desserts that I can have whenever the craving hits. That is why I love caramel apple crescent roll dessert. It is easy to make, has all of the flavors of caramel apples with the buttery goodness of crescent rolls. It might be the perfect dessert.

Whenever you make a baked apple dessert, you want to use certain apples. These are apples that hold up well when baking. You want the apple to get soft enough but you don’t want an apple that will fall apart. When it comes to baking, most people go straight for the granny smith. That is because it is the perfect apple for baking. It has a tartness that pairs great with sugar and the apple becomes soft enough but doesn’t fall apart. It is also easy to find all year long. That makes it perfect for baking. While there are other apples you can use, Granny Smith apples are the apples I recommend.

If you make a batch of these apple crescent rolls, you might not finish them all in one sitting. That’s ok, these apple crescent rolls will last several days. I recommend storing them in an airtight container, freezer bag or wrapped well in plastic in the refrigerator. If you want the caramel apple dessert to be warm, you can reheat it in the microwave for a few seconds.
Can Caramel Apple Rolls Be Frozen
If you like to keep these caramel apple rolls on hand but don’t always have time to make them, or you have too many that will not get eaten before they go bad, you can move these crescent rolls to the freezer. How to Make Caramel Apple Crescent Roll Dessert
Start by slicing your apple into 8 slices
Next, open your can of croissants and unroll the can, separate the triangles, and lay them out on a cookie sheet.
Sprinkle each croissant with Cinnamon
Place a slice of apple on each crescent roll on the thicker end
Drizzle with caramel and roll them up starting at the thick end one by one
Sprinkle with Cinnamon one more time
Bake according to the instructions on the croissant can
Allow to cool and enjoy!
