Do you love cinnamon rolls but don’t feel like rolling out the dough? This Cinnamon Roll Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting is the perfect solution!

Why do I love this recipe?

  • This recipe is the perfect combination of two of my favorite things: cinnamon rolls and cake. The cake is fluffy and moist, with all the flavor of a cinnamon roll. And the frosting is rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s the perfect dessert for any occasion.
  • I also love this recipe because it’s so easy to make. You don’t need any special equipment or ingredients, and it comes together quickly. So if you’re looking for an impressive dessert that’s easy to make, this Cinnamon Roll Cake is a perfect choice.

Do you put icing before or after baking cinnamon rolls?

There’s no right or wrong answer to this question, it’s entirely up to personal preference. Some people prefer to put the icing on before baking so that it melts into the cinnamon rolls and creates a gooey, delicious treat. Others prefer to wait until after the cinnamon rolls have been baked so that the icing forms a nice crust on top. Whichever way you prefer, we’ve got you covered with this recipe for Cinnamon Roll Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.

How do you keep canned cinnamon rolls moist?

If you’re looking for a moist and delicious cinnamon roll cake recipe, this is the one for you! Made with canned cinnamon rolls and topped with a decadent cream cheese frosting, this cake is sure to be a hit with family and friends.

To keep your canned cinnamon rolls moist, simply place them in a covered container or wrap them in plastic wrap before storing them. This will help to keep the moisture in, keeping your cinnamon rolls fresh and delicious.

What happens if you don’t Refrigerate cream cheese frosting?

If you don’t refrigerate cream cheese frosting, it will become too soft and runny to use. It’s still safe to eat, but it won’t be as pleasant to eat or look at. If you’re using it for a recipe that requires it to be firm, like a frosted cake, then you’ll need to refrigerate it. Otherwise, feel free to leave it at room temperature.

How do you make store-bought cinnamon rolls gooey?

Add them to a cake, of course! This Cinnamon Roll Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting is an easy way to turn everyone’s favorite breakfast pastry into an over-the-top dessert.

This cinnamon roll cake starts with a doctored-up box mix. Adding things like melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the batter helps to give the cake a little bit more flavor and moisture. Then, instead of baking the cake in a traditional pan, you’ll press it into a 9×13-inch baking dish that’s been lined with cinnamon rolls.

Baking the cake on top of the cinnamon rolls gives them time to get nice and gooey, without drying out. Once the cake is baked, it’s time for the frosting! This recipe uses a simple cream cheese frosting, but feel free to use your favorite icing. You could even top the cake with store-bought icing if you’re in a hurry.

Why do you add heavy cream to cinnamon rolls?

When it comes to cinnamon rolls, the key ingredient is always cinnamon. But what about the other ingredients? What makes a cinnamon roll so special?

For many people, it’s the addition of heavy cream that takes cinnamon rolls to the next level. Heavy cream adds richness and depth of flavor to the rolls, making them even more delicious.

So, if you’re looking for a way to take your cinnamon rolls to the next level, be sure to add some heavy cream! You won’t be disappointed.

Can cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting be left out?

Yes, cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting can be left out. The cream cheese frosting will act as a barrier and prevent the rolls from drying out. However, if you plan on leaving them out for more than a few hours, it’s best to store them in an airtight container.

What if I don’t want to make Cinnamon Rolls from scratch?

If you’re not in the mood to make cinnamon rolls from scratch, you can always cheat a little and use store-bought cinnamon roll dough. This recipe is for those times when you want the flavor of a cinnamon roll, but don’t necessarily want to put in the work.

This Cinnamon Roll Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting is basically a giant cinnamon roll that’s been baked in a cake pan. The result is a tender, fluffy cake that’s studded with cinnamon sugar and topped with a rich and creamy frosting. It’s the perfect dessert for any occasion!

Can I make cinnamon roll icing without cream cheese?

Yes, you can make cinnamon roll icing without cream cheese, but it will not be as rich and creamy. For a delicious alternative, try using buttercream frosting instead.

What is the frosting on cinnamon rolls made of?

The frosting on cinnamon rolls is usually made of cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Sometimes other flavors are added as well, such as lemon juice or almond extract. The key to a good cinnamon roll frosting is to balance the sweetness with the creaminess so that it’s not too sweet or too heavy.

Can I add nuts to my cake?

Adding nuts to your cake is a great way to add some extra flavor and texture. If you’re using a recipe that calls for ground cinnamon, you can try adding some chopped nuts to the mix. Just be sure to chop them finely so they don’t end up getting stuck in your teeth! You can also sprinkle some chopped nuts on top of the frosting for a decorative touch.

Tips

  • Make sure your ingredients are at room temperature before you start baking. Room-temperature ingredients mix together more easily and produce a more consistent cake.
  • Preheat your oven before you begin baking the cake. This will help ensure that your cake cooks evenly.
  • When measuring the flour, be sure to spoon it into the measuring cup and level it off with the back of a knife. Do not scoop the flour directly from the container, as this will pack it down and you will end up with too much flour in your cake.
  • Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough cake.
  • The key to a moist and fluffy cake is to not overcook it. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few crumbs attached.

Variations

  • Cinnamon roll cake is delicious on its own, but there are plenty of ways to change it up.
  • For example, you could add some chocolate chips to the batter for a chocolaty twist.
  • Or top the cake with caramel or chocolate sauce instead of frosting. If you want to get really creative, try making a cinnamon roll cake with a cream cheese filling – it’s like biting into a giant cinnamon roll!
