How is this recipe customizable?

If you are not a fan of pecans, you can eliminate or substitute another type of nut. I know a family that adds crumbled bacon and swears by it!

Ingredients:

  • Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls
  • Eggs
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Maple Syrup
  • Pecans

How to make Crockpot Cinnamon Roll Casserole:

Step 1. Cut the cinnamon rolls into four pieces each, and layer in the Crockpot. 

Step 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and maple syrup.

Add the heavy cream. 

Add the eggs.

Add the cinnamon.

Add the nutmeg.

Add the vanilla.

Add the maple syrup.

Step 3. Pour the mixture into the crockpot. 

Step 4. Sprinkle the nuts on top of the mixture. 

Step 5. Pour one of the icing packets over the mixture. 

Step 6. Cook on low for 3 hours. 

Step 7. Drizzle the remaining icing packet over the casserole before you serve.

  • ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup Pecans, Chopped

Instructions

You can place it into an airtight container once it has cooled to room temperature. Store it in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.

How should I reheat this Crockpot Cinnamon Roll Casserole?

You can place it in a preheated 350* oven and reheat it for 8 to 12 minutes, or until heated through. You could also use the microwave to reheat to the desired temperature.

Can I freeze the Crockpot Cinnamon Roll Casserole?

You could, but due to the eggs in the recipe, I do not recommend freezing. There may end up with some texture changes in the casserole.
