You can add vegetables to the Easy Cheesy Beef Goulash. Veggies such as corn, zucchini, cauliflower, or beans would all make a great addition. You could use Ground Sausage in place of the Ground Beef, or even Kielbasa.

Ingredients:

  • Ground beef
  • Minced garlic
  • Water
  • Tomato sauce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Bay leaves
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Italian seasoning
  • Elbow macaroni
  • Shredded cheddar cheese.

How Do You Make Beef Goulash:

Step 1. In a deep-sided skillet over medium-high heat, saute the beef until browned completely. Drain any excess fat.

Step 2. Add in the garlic and saute for 30 seconds.

Step 3. Reduce the heat to medium and pour in the water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, soy sauce, salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 4. Stir in the macaroni noodles and cover to simmer for another 30 minutes.

Step 5. Mix in the shredded cheddar and serve.

  • 2 lb. Ground beef
  • 3 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 3 C. Water
  • 2 Cans Tomato sauce 15 oz. each
  • 2 Cans Diced tomatoes 15 oz. each
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 3 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 C. Elbow macaroni
  • 1 C. Shredded cheddar cheese.

Instructions

How long can I store this Goulash in the refrigerator?

Once the Goulash has cooled to room temperature it can be transferred to an airtight container. Place the container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Can Easy Cheesy Beef Goulash be frozen?

You can store the Easy Cheesy Beef Goulash in the freezer for up to 3 months. Be sure the food has cooled completely before placing it into an airtight container. Be aware that the Elbow Macaroni may have a texture issue upon thawing.
