When I was younger, my grandmother would get bushels of peaches slice and freeze them for cobbler all year.
The peaches seem to mostly go to the bottom, giving us a cross between a cake and a cobbler… and just DELICIOUS!

Cook Time: 45-50 minutes

Ingredients:
½ C. Butter unsalted and melted
1 C. Flour
1 C. Granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. Baking powder
1 C. Milk
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
3 Cans sliced peaches rinsed and drained well
1 C. Brown sugar
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
How to make Georgia Peach Cobbler:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2. Melt the butter and pour it into the center of a 9×13 baking dish. Do not spread the butter around.
Step 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Step 4. Pour the batter over the butter in the center of the baking dish. Do not stir or spread it around.
Step 5. Place the peaches, brown sugar, and lemon juice in a skillet over medium heat on the stove. Cook until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 6. Pour the peach mixture into the center of the baking dish. Again, do not stir to combine.
Step 7. Bake for 45 minutes until browned and cooked through.
