Why I love Italian Sauced Farfalle with Shrimp and Spinach?

  • This recipe is so flexible in that I can substitute the ingredients I (or others) don’t like. I can also change the spices to achieve a different flavor.
  • I don’t have to buy specialty ingredients that may or may not be available at my local supermarket.
  • It doesn’t take a lot of prep work to make this dish. All I have to do is rinse and clean the shrimp and spinach.
  • It’s quick and easy to make, which is perfect for nights that I don’t feel like cooking.
  • It makes enough to feed my family of four. If I need to feed guests, all I have to do is scale the recipe up to accommodate the number of people who will be joining us for dinner.
  • Reheating the leftovers isn’t difficult. I can use my microwave or toaster oven.

Read the instructions on the package for cooking instructions. Add salt to the water when you set it to boil. This will season each noodle from the inside out.

How do you know when farfalle is done?

Remove a noodle and cut it with a fork. There should be no resistance, and you should have a clean cut.
