Why I love Oven Baked Pork Chops?

  • Easy to make
  • Super juicy and full of flavor
  • Delicious and beginner friendly

Is it better to Bake Pork Chops at 350 or 400?

If you cook your chops at a higher temperature you are going to get a crispier exterior and a crispier crust. You do also run the risk of your chops drying out faster and not being cooked evenly. If you do cook at a lower temperature, you are going to get a juicier chop and you are going to be able to avoid your chops drying out.

Should you cover pork chops when baking in oven?

You want to cook your chops uncovered for the duration of your cook time. Cooking them uncovered will get you a great crust, crispy chops and a flavorful dish overall.

Do you have to put water in the pan when baking pork chops?

If you want to steam your chops and you want to make sure that they stay very moist, you can add water to the pan to help keep them moist and to ensure that they are not going to dry out. You do not have to put water in the pan when you bake pork chops, however. You can add tons of flavor and you can add things like broth and basting juices to keep them moist.

How to serve Oven Baked Pork Chops?

These are a great main dish and can be served with applesauce, mashed potatoes, green beans and all the fixings.
