My favorite pork chop recipe, everyone loves it!

German Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

SO GOOD!!

German Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4

Ingredients:

4 Large bone-in center-cut pork chops

1 Tbsp. Olive oil

2 lbs. Sauerkraut drained well

1 Large red apple peeled and diced

1 Onion chopped

⅔ C. Brown sugar

1 Tbsp. Caraway seeds

Salt and pepper to taste

How to make German Pork Chops and Sauerkraut:

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove.

Step 3. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste, and saute in the heated skillet for a few minutes on each side until browned.

Step 4. Place the browned pork chops in the bottom of a well-greased 9×13 baking dish.

Step 5. Add the sauerkraut, apple, onion, brown sugar, and caraway seeds to a large mixing bowl, and stir to combine.

Step 6. Spread the sauerkraut mixture over the pork chops.

Step 7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
