FAQs

What is Bread Pudding?

It truly is a pudding made with bread. There are, of course, other ingredients: eggs, milk, cinnamon, raisins, and vanilla with a small amount of sugar. The bread is broken up, and an egg mixture is made and poured over the bread. You let it soak for a few minutes and then bake it.

Is this a family friendly drunken bourbon bread pudding?

It can be as long as you allow the alcohol to burn off. If you want to make it even more kid-friendly, you may want to add a maple syrup instead of the bourbon or a mixture of cinnamon and milk.

Is there a healthy drunken bourbon bread pudding version?

To make this a bit healthier, you’ll want to choose a lower carb bread to use. You can add some fruit on the side to help bring in some nutrition.
