This Southern Fried Chicken Recipe is a picnic favorite for me and my family!
It’s crispy, spicy, moist and great flavor!
Southern Fried Chicken is really good and very easy to prepare!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15-20 minutes per batch
Servings: 4
Ingredients needed to make Southern Fried Chicken Recipe;
8 Boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
2 C. Buttermilk
3 C. Self rising flour
1 ½ tsp. Salt
Pepper to taste
2 Large eggs
2 C. Milk
Oil for frying
How do you make Southern Fried Chicken Recipe:
Step 1. Place the chicken tenderloins into the buttermilk, and soak for at least an hour.
Step 2. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk.
Step 3. Mix together the eggs and milk in a bowl.
Step 4. Mix together the flour, salt and pepper, and divide it evenly onto two plates.
Step 5. Dip the chicken in the egg mixture, then the flour, the egg mixture again, and coat it with a final layer of flour.

Step 6. Heat an inch or two of oil in a skillet over medium high heat on the stove.
Step 7. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
