1 C. Chicken broth

Ingredient Notes & Substitutions

Use shredded turkey if you’re not a fan of chicken or if you do not have it available for a similar taste.

Use fresh blocks of cheddar cheese to easily melt the cheese instead of prepackaged, shredded cheese.

Tips for Success

Allow the casserole to cool for 10 minutes until it’s ready to serve. This will provide time for ingredients to meld together perfectly for that savory comforting taste you’re craving.

Use blocks of cheese to help the cheese melt properly. Prepackaged and/or shredded cheese with preservatives may become stuck together. Freshly grated cheese is the way to go whenever possible.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in a casserole dish with a cover, or place your casserole slices into airtight containers. You can store this chicken spaghetti casserole dinner for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator.

It’s also possible to freeze portions of this casserole in airtight containers for up to 2 months. Always thaw your casserole before attempting to reheat it.

Reheat your casserole in its original baking dish by placing it in an oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow this dish to come to room temperature before cooking for the best results.

You can also reheat refrigerated chicken spaghetti casserole in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.

Serving Suggestions

Because of how hearty and filling this dish is, you may be searching for additional homemade chicken spaghetti casserole ideas when choosing the perfect sides. FAQs
