What is Amish chicken?

The name comes from how the chicken is raised and processed according to the Amish traditions. In comparison to other chicken, there are no added hormones and they are considered free range. This means it is an all-natural diet and they are not cooped up the entire growth period.

This garlic-roasted chicken thighs with gravy are one of my favorites as well as this Amish chicken.

What can I serve with the Amish Chicken?

A side of mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or even a side salad are great choices. A side of Rice or pasta would also be delicious with gravy smothering it.
