The topping comprises butter, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. And then you have the glaze, which is a combination of milk, vanilla and powdered sugar. The topping is layered over the cake batter and then swirled around, not only to combine the flavors but also because it looks so pretty like this.

- Brown sugar
- Flour
- Cinnamon
For the glaze:
- Powdered sugar
- Milk
- Vanilla extract
How to make Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the cake.
Then, add it in a smooth layer to a well-greased 9×13 baking dish.
Step 3. Mix together the ingredients for the topping, and pour on top of the cake layer.
Then, swirl it into the top of the cake layer with a butter knife.
Step 4. Bake for 35-40 minutes until cooked through.
Step 5. Mix together the ingredients for the glaze and drizzle over the warm cake.
Let the glaze set before serving.

Storage Instructions:
This cinnamon roll coffee cake will keep for 3, or even 4, days if you keep it in an airtight container at room temperature. If it goes a little stale, you can always serve it with a little ice cream, custard or whipped cream to disguise the fact!
Variations and Substitutions:
You might like to add some chopped pecans or walnuts to the topping for some crunch, or perhaps sprinkle over some chocolate chips instead. Add-ins such as raisins or dried cranberries are great in the batter, and you could even add some cream cheese frosting in between the layers of cinnamon rolls.
