Why do I love Peachy Keen Bars?
There are a few reasons why I love these bars. First of all, they’re made with fresh peaches, which are in season during the summer months. This means that they’re not only delicious, but they’re also healthy.
Another reason I love these bars is that they’re vegan and gluten-free. This makes them perfect for people with dietary restrictions. And last but not least, they’re easy to make!
So if you’re looking for a tasty snack that’s both healthy and easy to make, then you need to try these peachy keen bars!
Can I use different fruit?
Sure! We love the result of canned peaches, but you can certainly swap them for other fruit. Canned pineapple cut into slices or canned pears would also be pretty tasty options.
Do I need salted or unsalted butter?
I recommend using unsalted butter for pretty much all baked goods. However, if you only have salted butter on hand, it’s fine to use it. It won’t make a drastic difference in flavors, just a subtle one.
Is it okay to use a different cake mix?
Yep! French vanilla, spice cake, or even chocolate cake would make some fun and delicious twists on flavor! So, try out some different varieties to see what you like the best.

- Use fresh peaches for the best flavor. If you can’t find fresh peaches, you can use frozen ones. Just be sure to thaw them before using them.
- Be sure to use vegan cream cheese for the filling. This will ensure that your bars are both vegan and gluten-free.
- If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a blender to make the peach puree. Just be sure to blend until the mixture is smooth.
- The bars will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
