Christmas is definitely my favorite time of year. The cookies, the lights, the music… oh yes. One of my family’s favorite Christmas traditions is making cookies together. This year, I’m going to try out a new recipe: Buttered Pecan Cookies.

Step 6. Form the dough into 24 evenly sized balls, and flatten with the palm of your hands.
Step 7. Place the cookies onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, and top each one with a pecan half.

Step 8. Bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 9. Allow the cookies to cool before serving.
