Can you put raw bacon in the crock pot?
You can cook raw bacon in the crock pot to add flavor to your meal, but it won’t have the characteristic crispy texture associated with bacon. If you prefer crisp bacon with your Crock Pot Caesar Bacon Chicken, fry up the bacon separately and top your Caesar Chicken with crispy bacon bits when you serve it.
Why is my crock pot chicken soggy?
If your crock pot Caesar Bacon Chicken is soggy when you add it to the noodles, your likely have too much Caesar dressing. Either increase the amount of chicken in the recipe or reduce the amount of Caesar dressing. Your chicken should be covered with dressing as it marinates, but it does not need to be swimming in the dressing.
Will bacon stay crispy in a Crock Pot?
Raw bacon can be cooked right in the crock pot to give your Caesar bacon Chicken Recipe flavor, but it will get soggy and limp. If you want crispy bacon pieces with your chicken, cook the bacon separately and sprinkle it over the chicken just before serving.

- Cook the chicken until it nearly falls apart and shred it with two forks if you want to add your Caesar Bacon Chicken to a salad or for a quick and healthy lunch.
- If you prefer to serve the breasts whole, you may need to cook them for a shorter time so they do not begin to fall apart.
