Crockpot Great Northern Beans

This recipe is for the best and creamy Crockpot Great Northern Beans and the best part is that all the work is done by the magical crock pot machine!
Prep Time: 10 minutes – Cook Time: 6-8 hours – Servings: 10-12
Ingredients for Crockpot Great Northern Beans:
2 lb. Dried great northern beans
6 C. Water
1 ½ lb. Ham hocks
Salt to taste
½ tsp. Pepper
1 Carrot peeled and chopped
1 Stalk celery chopped
½ tsp. Cayenne pepper
How To Make Crockpot Great Northern Beans:
Step 1. Place the beans into the Crockpot along with the vegetables.

Step 2. Pour the water over the beans and add the salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.

Step 3. Place the ham hocks in the Crockpot.
Step 4. Close the lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Step 5. Remove the ham hocks and take off any meat from them.
Step 6. Add the meat back to the crockpot, stir and serve.
