Why I love Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps?

  • My cheeseburger wraps recipe stretches a pound of hamburger to make wraps for five people! It’s very economical!
  • It tastes great, with all of the classic flavors that make cheeseburgers popular.

How do you fold a cheeseburger wrap?

Scoop the meat filling into a long narrow row in the middle of the tortilla. Add other fillings. Fold the bottom of the tortilla up over the filling. Fold in the sides of the wrap.

How do you layer and fold a wrap?

Add the cheese first, and scoop the meat into the center of the tortilla in a narrow strip. Add other fillings and fold the bottom of the tortilla over the fillings. Fold in the sides of the tortilla.

What goes first on a wrap?

Adding the cheese to your cheeseburger wrap first will help the cheese melt when you put it on the grill. This will help keep the wrap from falling apart when you try to eat it.

How do you make wraps that don’t go soggy?

Make sure that you don’t use too much ketchup or chipotle sauce or your wrap will get soggy. Also, fully dry your lettuce to keep the wraps dry.

How to serve Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps?

Serve these for supper along with fries or a side salad. Or you can put the tortilla halves on a tray and serve them as party fare.

Tips:

  • Be sure to drain all of the greases to keep these wraps from being too heavy and soggy.
  • Dry the lettuce well to keep your wraps dry.
  • Taste the meat filling before you add it to the wraps to ensure it is properly seasoned.

Variations:

  • Swap out the cheddar cheese for whatever your favorite cheese is. Pepperjack or mozzarella would make a great flavor change.
  • Skip the chipotle sauce and ketchup and add a couple of tablespoons of tomato sauce instead. Use mozzarella cheese for a pizza-flavored snack.
