There is ground beef, pulled pork, chicken tacos and even each of those can be made in a unique way. Tacos are just an all-around amazing food. Hawaiian chicken is chicken that features soy sauce and pineapple. These flavors are traditional in Hawaiian flavors. When the flavors combine it great a sweet and sour and salty flavor and it tastes so good. While normally this kind of Hawaiian Chicken would be served over rice, in this case, it is being turned into a pull chicken taco. How to Store Instant Pot Chicken Tacos
Once the chicken tacos are ready, you might find that you made too many. You can store the leftovers in the refrigerator or the freezer. If storing the tacos in the refrigerator, be sure to store it in an airtight container or wrapped well with plastic. The Hawaiian Chicken will stay fresh for about 3 days. If you have made too much chicken than what can be eaten in a few days, or you have made this recipe to use as a freezer meal, simply store the pulled chicken taco in a freezer bag. This is the easiest way to freeze the chicken. When using the freezer bags, you can freeze the chicken in individual servings or in a larger bag as a second dinner.
How to Reheat Instant Pot Chicken Tacos
There are 2 ways to reheat your leftover chicken tacos. You can use the microwave, Since you only need to heat them through, it will only take a few minutes, depending on your microwave and the amount you are reheating. The better option is to reheat the Hawaiian Chicken in a saucepan or pot on the stovetop. This gives you better control of the reheating process and you can prevent the chicken from being overheated causing it to become dried out.

For the chicken
- Boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Jalapeno
- Pineapple
- Garlic
- Red onion
- Salt
- Chili powder
- Cumin
- Mustard
- Sriracha
- Water
For the sauce:
- Olive oil
- Water
- Mayo
- Jalapeno
- White vinegar
- Parsley
- Garlic
- Dill
- Chives
- Salt
- Pepper
How to Make Instant Pot Chicken Tacos
Begin by measuring all of your ingredients and setting them up so they are easy to access as you cook.
Next, you will place the chicken ingredients into the Instant Pot, and set to cook as directed.
Once the chicken has cooked, you will place on a baking sheet and add to the oven to brown.
As the chicken is browning in the oven, you can add your sauce ingredients to a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth
Build your tacos on tortillas with a bit of shredded cabbage, your sauce, and any other toppings you prefer.

Hawaiian Instant Pot Chicken Tacos
Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 1 ¼ lbs. Boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 Jalapeno minced finely
- 2 C. Fresh chopped pineapple
- 3 Cloves minced garlic
- ½ Red onion chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 Tbsp. Mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Sriracha
- ¼ C. Water
For the sauce:
- ¼ C. Olive oil
- ¼ C. Water
- ½ C. Mayo
- 1 Jalapeno finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. White vinegar
- ¼ C. Freshly chopped parsley
- 1 Clove minced garlic
- 1 tsp. Dried dill
- ¼ C. Chives finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to the “broil” setting.
- Add all of the ingredients for the chicken to the Instant Pot.
- Close the lid on the pot, and make sure the release valve is set to sealing. Set the Instant Pot to manual on high for 10 minutes.
- When the cook time has finished, do a quick release by carefully switching the release valve to the venting position. Carefully shred the chicken.
- Transfer the chicken mixture to an aluminum covered baking sheet, and bake for about 10 minutes until browned a bit.
- Mix all of the ingredients for the sauce in a food processor, and pulse until smooth and creamy.
- Toss the sauce with a bit of shredded cabbage.
- Top tortillas with the chicken mixture, the tossed shredded cabbage and some additional sauce, as well as any other toppings you might prefer.
