- Olive oil
- Onion
- Carrots
- Celery stalks
- Garlic
- Green bell pepper
- Cabbage
- Fire-roasted tomatoes
- Vegetable broth
- Bay leafs
- Dried oregano
- Dried basil
- Eed pepper flakes
- Salt
- Black pepper
How to make a Fat Flush Soup in the Instant Pot
Step 1. Cut all your vegetables and set aside
Step 2. Set the IP on saute mode and pour in the olive oil
Step 3. Add in the diced onion, carrots, and celery and mix until combined

Step 4. Saute for a few minutes or until the vegetables become soft, about 5 minutes

Step 5. Stir in the minced garlic

Step 6. Add in the cabbage, green pepper, tomatoes, broth, and the spices, stirring to combine

Step 7. Lock you IP lid in place and close the stem vent
Step 8. Set on manual high pressure for 4 minutes
Step 9. Allow the IP to natural release for 5 minutes once timer goes off

Step 10. Remove lid and stir to combine

- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cabbage, chopped
- 1 – 14 oz can fire roasted tomatos
- 8 C of vegetable broth
- 3 bay leafs
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Hi again Carolyn, you can use red pepper flakes substitutes, the best substitutes are cayenne powder(½ teaspoon of cayenne powder per ¾ teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes ) and red chile pepper (small red chile pepper per each teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes), hope this helps, thanks 🙂
If a person does not have a Instant Pot can this soup be done in a crock pot?
Hii Carolyn, The answer is YES….BUT many people report that the Instant Pot function doesn’t work quite the same as Crock-Pot, and that cook times may need to be increased.
