Ingredients For Homemade Cheesesteak Subs:

4 Hoagie rolls

12 oz. Cheesesteak meat

½ C. Onion chopped

½ C. Bell pepper chopped

7 Provolone cheese slices

Mayonnaise

Salt and pepper to taste

Parsley for garnish

How To Make Homemade Cheesesteak Subs:

Step 1. Spread some mayonnaise on the hoagie rolls.

Step 2. Cook the cheesesteak meat and cover in three slices of cheese. Let the cheese melt, and then remove the meat from the skillet. Do not remove the excess grease from the skillet.

Step 3. Saute the onions and peppers in the grease from the cheesesteak meat until tender. Remove from the skillet.

Step 4. Layer the meat on top of the hoagie rolls and then add the onions and peppers.

Step 5. Place a slice of cheese on top of each roll and heat under a broiler until melted.

Step 6. Garnish with parsley before serving.
