Homemade McDonald’s McGriddles

Ingredients For Homemade McDonald’s McGriddles:
1 Batch of pancake batter
½ C. Maple syrup
4 Large eggs
4 Slices of bacon
4 Slices American cheese
How To Make Homemade McDonald’s McGriddles:
Step 1. Place the maple syrup in a saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a low boil. Whisk often until the maple syrup darkens, thickens and reaches a temperature of 265 degrees.
Step 2. Pour the maple syrup mixture on a parchment lined baking sheet and cool until it can be crumbled into pieces.
Step 3. Prepare the pancake mix, and use it to make 8 smaller pancakes. Sprinkle some of the crushed maple syrup mixture into the pancakes as they cook.

Step 4. Cook the eggs, dividing them into 4 pieces when finished.
Step 5. Cook the bacon until crispy and then drain on a paper towel lined plate.
Step 6. Top four of the pancakes with a slice of American cheese, then one portion of egg and a slice of the bacon broken in half.

Step 7. Add another pancake on top of each sandwich and serve.
