How to Make Moist Pressure Cooker Pork Loin

When cooking pork loin in the pressure cooker, you are almost guaranteed to get juicy and tender pork as a result. However, you should also let the pressure cooker do a natural release for 10 minutes. By doing the natural release you are letting the juices get soaked back in. It also helps to let the meat rest before cutting. It ensures that the meat will stay tender and moist.

Variations to Instant Pot Pork Loin Recipe

I love the way these flavors come together. The flavor profile fits perfectly. However, if you are looking for a way to change the recipe slightly you can try:

  • Change the seasoning: If you are not a fan of soy sauce, you can make a similar sauce using Worcestershire sauce.
  • Skip the sauce: If you prefer to let the meat’s flavor come through more than a sauce, you can just add your favorite seasonings and liquid. This will get the pork a different flavor but will still come out moist and delicious.

Do I Need a Pork Marinaded When Using an Instant Pot

When it comes to using the Instant Pot, whatever flavors you are trying to use for the pork almost acts like a marinade. The flavors get deep into the meat. So you do not need a pork marinade. However, of course, you can certainly use a pork marinade if you wanted. You could create a marinade from the sauce ingredients.

Include some of the sauce when storing the pork loin. As the pork sits in the refrigerator, it will continue to soak the flavors of the sauce.

How Long Does Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin Last?

You can keep the cooked pork tenderloin in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Make sure it is stored in an airtight container or the pork will spoil sooner. When you are ready to reheat the pork you can reheat it a skillet, the oven or the microwave. Enjoy it as a lunch or dinner or even as a sandwich.

Can I freeze pork?

Yes. This recipe for pork freezes beautifully. It stays tender and flavorful whether you are making it as a freezer meal or if you have extra leftovers that you will not be able to eat before it spoils. Freeze the pork for dinner another night or individual servings. With individual servings, you can pull out how much you want at a time. This makes a great quick dinner or easy lunch idea.
