Why I Love Lemon Garlic Lobster Tails?
The meatiest part of the lobster is the tail, ensuring plenty of soft, succulent meat to go around. Combining the meat with the marinade and butter makes it a rich, unmatched feast worthy of admiration.
Is it Better to Boil or Bake Lobster Tails?
Both methods work when cooking lobster tails, but you may want to choose one over the other for different reasons.
- Boiled: Boiling your lobster is the fastest way to cook it once the water reaches a boil. If using this method, ensure the meat is entirely white, and the shell is red before removing it from the water.
- Baked: This method bakes the meat evenly and allows you to marinate it before cooking.
What Do You Add to the Water When Boiling Lobster Tails?
Adding anything to the water when boiling lobster tails is unnecessary. Some people like to add potatoes or corn on the cob to the water to cook along with the tail, but it doesn’t always result in even cooking.
How to Serve Lemon Garlic Lobster Tails?
The most common thing to serve with these tails is lemon wedges. To make your tail the central part of a meal, you can serve with:
- Salad
- Baked potatoes
- Rice
- Bread/Rolls
- Steamed Vegetables
- Corn on the Cob

Cooking Tips:
- Always thaw your lobster tails completely before cooking.
- Know the cooking method you’ll be using before preparing the lobster.
- Use a good pair of kitchen shears to cut through the shell.
- It’s okay if you happen to cut through the lobster meat during the preparations.
