Why is a dessert called Creamsicle or Fluff?
Reminiscent of younger days with the Ice Cream Truck, Creamsicle desserts were and still are a popular treat. Now, however, they can be made at home. They are simply a dessert that is made with a whipped topping and flavored gelatin.
Can I use a flavor other than Orange jello?
This depends on the flavor you would like. To make a dessert such as this creamier, you could blend in a vanilla pudding mix. As for jello flavors, any flavor you like can and will make a Creamsicle dessert when the recipe is followed.
Is there a way that I can make this a healthier dessert?
To begin to make it healthier, you could use a sugar-free or fat-free option of whipped topping. Yogurt can be used in place of the cream cheese, using a sugar-free version of marmalade will also make this a bit healthier.
What should I serve the Creamsicle dessert with?
This delightful dessert is perfect the way it is, however, you could top it with additional whipped topping or a dollop of vanilla soft-serve ice cream.
