With the asparagus fries you get the fried texture and amazing parmesan crusted top that will drive your kids wild.

Ingredients for Parmesan Crusted Asparagus Fries

20 pieces of asparagus spears, remove the hard ends

Seasoning salt and pepper to taste

½ cup all purpose flour

1 egg

½ cup whole grain breadcrumbs

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

How to create the Parmesan Crusted Asparagus Fries

Step1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step2: Pour the whole grain breadcrumbs and flour on separate plates.

Step3: Thoroughly mix up the egg and pour onto another plate.

Step4: Make an assembly line for dipping.

Step5: Roll your asparagus spears into the flour and shake off excess. Next, dip them into the egg mixture and finally roll in the whole grain breadcrumbs.

Step6: Place on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Step7: Remove from the oven and sprinkle all the parmesan cheese on top.

Step8: Put back in the oven for 12 minutes.

Step9: Remove from the oven and ENJOY!
