Tips

  • Make this recipe more festive by using holiday themed candy and colorful sprinkles. Some fun additions are mini eggs, broken chocolate bars, and chocolate xmas balls.
  • Melt the chocolate slowly and carefully to avoid scorching the white chocolate which can happen easily.
  • You can also melt the white chocolate in the microwave on high. Heat for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until smooth and melted.
  • Line the baking sheet with wax paper or parchment to prevent sticking. Avoid using cooking foil since it’s not non-stick.
  • Let the trail mix cool and set fully before breaking apart and placing in a jar for storage.
  • This recipe also makes a great topping for ice cream sundaes!
  • White trash can be easily doubled, even tripled! Make this in large batches, it stores well!
