There’s nothing like a big, fluffy stack of French toast for breakfast. And with this easy Big Mac French Toast recipe, you can enjoy all the flavors of your favorite fast food burger in a delicious and satisfying breakfast dish.
Similar to a Monte Cristo, but so much better as a Big Mac on two slices of French Toast. This recipe is like a combination of breakfast and dinner at the same time.

When this recipe first came across my feed, I had to grimace. My thought was Thousand Island dressing as a topping on French Toast. I had to stop and look. Then I had to stop and play with the recipe until I made it taste better.
The results were amazing! The Big Macs turned into a delicious breakfast treat that everyone loved.
My kids were so excited when they saw me making them that they couldn’t wait to try them. And let me tell you – they didn’t disappoint!

What Is a Big Mac?
The Big Mac is one of the most popular sandwiches sold by the fast food chain. It has two beef patties, special sauce, cheese, pickles and onions, with lettuce. The burger is served on a sesame seed bun.
Can I make this with a breakfast sausage instead?
Yes, it can be made with breakfast sausage. Just be sure that the sausage is cooked thoroughly before putting it in the french toast batter.
Do I have to add ham?
No, it is not needed to add ham. However, I have tried it this way and it is delicious.
Can I add ingredients to this sandwich?
You could add almost anything you want to the sandwich. I suggest items such as onion rings, french fries, barbecue sauce, ketchup and mustard.
Ingredients:
- Ground beef
- Thick cut bread
- American cheese
- Half an onion sliced thin
- Olive oil
- Bacon
- Eggs
- Milk
- Heavy whipping cream
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Big mac sauce
How To Make Big Mac French Toast:
Step 1. Form the ground beef into two separate patties and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Then, Saute over medium-high heat until cooked to your liking. Remove and keep warm.
Step 2. Add the oil to the same skillet and saute the onions until softened.
Step 3. Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside.
Step 4. Mix together the eggs, milk, heavy whipping cream, garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper in a bowl until well combined.
Step 5. Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture.
Then toast in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy on both sides.
Step 6. Layer some big mac sauce on the inside of the slices of toast if desired.
Step 7. Place a burger patty on two slices of bread, and top with a slice of American cheese, some sauteed onions, and 2 slices of bacon.
Step 8. Place another piece of toast on top of each sandwich and serve.

- ⅔ lb. Ground beef
- 4 Slices of thick cut bread
- 2 Slices American cheese
- Half an onion sliced thin
- 1 tsp. Olive oil
- 4 Slices of bacon
- 4 Large eggs
- ½ C. Milk
- ½ C. Heavy whipping cream
- ½ tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Big mac sauce, optional

Instructions

You can certainly make smaller sandwiches. Look for a smaller loaf of bread and slice the way you would like it.
