Chicken a la King

I like to serve this Chicken a la King dish with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes!

Chicken a la King

Ingredients You Need To Make Chicken a la King:

1 cup sour cream

2 egg yolks

1 pimento, chopped

4 tsp cooking wine

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp butter

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1 cup chicken broth

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed

How To Make Chicken a la King:

Step 1. In a bowl, combine sour cream, egg yolks, pimento, cooking wine, salt and pepper. Set aside.

And mix

Step 2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt. Add bell pepper and mushrooms and sauté until tender.

And

 

Step 3. Stir in broth and flour. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add chicken to the skillet and heat through.

Step 4. Add sour cream mixture to skillet and heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Serve hot.
