How to make Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole?
Step 1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees, and grease a 9×13 baking dish well.
Step 2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Step 3. In a bowl, mix together ½ cup milk and the egg until well combined.
Step 4. In a separate shallow bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
Step 5. Dip the chicken pieces into the egg mixture, and then roll in the bread crumbs to coat well.
Step 6. Heat some olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, and sear the chicken on all sides just until golden brown.
Step 7. Layer the chicken into the bottom of the casserole dish.
Step 8. Combine the remaining milk and cream of chicken soup in a bowl.
Step 9. Sprinkle the cheese and ham over the chicken in the casserole dish.
Step 10. Pour the soup mixture over all of the ingredients.
Step 11. Bake the casserole for 30-35 minutes. Make sure the chicken is cooked completely before serving.
