Variations on a Dessert Lasagna Recipe
This is such a great recipe, and if you really want to change this recipe up, here are a few ideas.
- Add Peanut Butter – You can either add peanut butter chips to the chocolate chip cookie layer or simply turn it into a peanut butter cookie dough. You can even change the cookie dough to whatever flavor cookie you like.
- Change the Pudding – While this recipe calls for chocolate and vanilla pudding, you can use whatever flavor pudding you like. Change it up. See how butterscotch or another flavor would taste with the cookie layer.
Can I turn this into a chocolate trifle?
This is a fun dessert that you can even turn into a chocolate trifle. Using individual cups to create chocolate trifles, you can turn this recipe into single servings. Start by baking the cookie dough as cookies. Lay the cookie down into the cup and then add the pudding layers. Layer the cups just like you would if making the full size version.
