How to make Slow Cooker Ham, Green Beans, and Potatoes:
Step 1. Start by adding 2 lbs of fresh green beans snapped and cut into pieces into a slow cooker.
Step 2. Then, add 1 cup of chopped onions.
Step 3. Then, add 4 cups of chicken broth.
Step 4. Place the ham hock in the slow cooker. Close the lid and cook on high for 1 hour.
Step 5. Lower the temperature to low, and cook for 3 hours.
Step 6. Open the lid, remove the ham hock, and add 2 lbs of potatoes.
Step 7. Slice and chop the ham before adding it back to the slow cooker.
Step 8. Then add minced garlic, seasoned salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 9. Return the lid to the slow cooker and cook on high again for 1 ½ hour, or until the potatoes are tender.

Slow Cooker Ham, Green Beans and Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Fresh green beans snapped and cut into pieces
- 1 C. Chopped onions
- 1 Large ham hock or 2-3 smaller ones
- 2 lbs. Small gold potatoes chopped
- 4 C. Chicken broth
- 2 tsp. Minced garlic
- 1 tsp. Seasoned salt
- Pepper to taste

Instructions
- Place the green beans, onions and chicken broth into a slow cooker.
- Place the ham hock in the slow cooker. Close the lid and cook on high for 1 hour.
- Lower the temperature to low, and cook for 3 hours.
- Open the lid, remove the ham hock and add the potatoes.
- Slice and chop the ham before adding it back to the slow cooker with the minced garlic, seasoned salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the lid to the slow cooker and cook on high again for 1 ½ hours, or until the potatoes are tender.
