The sandwich would actually entail thin slices of steak, provolone cheese, green peppers, and onions. There are many who claim that it is not a Philly unless it includes all three of these, onions, mushrooms, and green peppers. The Philly Cheesesteak is a Sandwich that became popular in Philly, that is how it is believed the name came about.

- Peppers chopped
- Onion chopped
- Minced garlic
- Seasoned salt

How to make Philly cheesesteak casserole?
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. In a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove, begin to brown the meat.
Step 3. When the meat is partially browned, add the onions and peppers to the skillet. Cook until the meat is completely browned and the vegetables are beginning to soften.
Step 4. Add the seasoned salt and minced garlic to the skillet and saute for another 30 seconds. Drain any excess grease.
Step 5. Layer the beef on the bottom of a well-greased 9×9 baking dish.
Step 6. Top the beef with the cheese slices.
Step 7. Mix together the heavy whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, and eggs in a bowl, and pour over the meat mixture in the baking dish.
Step 8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until cooked through.
Serve warm!

- 1 tsp. Seasoned salt

- 4 Large Eggs
- ¼ C. Heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

How should this casserole be stored?
You will need to cool the food to room temperature first. Once the food is cool, place it in an airtight container or cover it with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. You can store the casserole in the refrigerator for up to 3 or 4 days.
