Storage & reheating

You’re probably excited that you could find homemade brown sugar garlic chicken ideas, but if you don’t eat it all, you might wonder what you can do with it.

As soon as the chicken cools off completely, you can put it in an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator. It’ll remain safe to eat for the next three days.

If you’d like to save the simple brown sugar garlic chicken meal you made to eat in the future, you can freeze it for up to six months. Make sure you put it in a freezer bag or an airtight container to prevent it from picking up other flavors.

When it’s time to reheat it, you may place it on the stove with a little broth or water. Ideally, you’ll want to cook it on a low to medium heat. You could also place it in the oven. Microwaving it is an option, but you’ll want to place a damp paper towel on it to help it retain its moisture.
