Step 2. Combine all of the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl, and allow to rest for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3. Drop the batter by the spoonful into the heated oil, and cook until golden brown.
Step 4. Drain the fritters on a paper towel-lined plate, and serve.
