Ingredients:
- Elbow macaroni
- Unsalted sweet cream butter
- Flour
- Whole milk
- Cheddar cheese
- Cream cheese
- Cottage cheese
- Tomato
How To Make Crack and Cheese:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. Follow the back of the elbow macaroni box to boil the macaroni.
Step 3. Once the macaroni has been cooked and drained, set aside.
Step 4. Using a large saucepan, melt the butter.
Step 5. Once the butter is melted, whisk in the flour.
Step 6. Once the flour and butter are combined, whisk in the milk until combined.
Step 7. Continue to whisk until thick.
Step 8. Add in the cheese, cream cheese, and cottage cheese.
Step 9. Mix together until combined.
Step 10. Remove from stove.
Step 11. Gently fold the macaroni into the cheese mixture.
Step 12. Fold in half of the diced tomato.
Step 13. Once coated, scoop the mac and cheese into a 9×13 baking dish.
Step 14. Sprinkle 1 C of the cheddar cheese on top and the remaining tomatoes.
Step 15. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and melted.
Step 16. Remove and serve!

- ¼ C flour
- 2 C whole milk
- 4 C cheddar cheese plus 1 C for topping
- ⅔ C cream cheese
- 1 ⅓ C cottage cheese
- 1 large tomato diced

Instructions

- Remove from stove
- Gently fold in the macaroni into the cheese mixture
- Fold in half of the diced tomato
- Once coated, scoop the mac and cheese into a 9×13 baking dish
- Sprinkle 1 C of the cheddar cheese on top and remaining tomatoes
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is a golden brown and melted
- Remove and serve!
