The flaky crescent roll holds a dollop of the perfectly creamy vanilla-flavored cream cheese filling. You then drizzle a glaze over the top to give not only a shine but a delightfully sweet flavor on the top.

  • Crescent rolls
  • Cream cheese softened
  • Granulated sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Vanilla extract
  • Brown sugar
  • Butter melted

  • Powdered sugar
  • Milk
  • Vanilla extract

How to make Crescent Cream Cheese Danishes:

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Step 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar.

Step 4. Open the crescent roll packages, and cut each one into 8 even sections.

Step 5. Place the sections of crescent roll dough flat on a large parchment-lined baking sheet, and use your fingers or the back of a spoon to create a well in the center of each one.

Step 6. Brush the brown sugar mixture onto the top of each crescent roll section.

Then, fill the center of each one with a serving of the cream cheese mixture.

Step 7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through.

Step 8. Mix together the ingredients for the glaze until smooth, and brush on top of the danishes before serving.

  • 1 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
