Ingredients Needed To Make Beef Tacos:
1 lb. Ground beef
1 Packet taco seasoning
Olive oil
6 Pitas
Chili powder to taste
Salt to taste
1 ½ C. Shredded taco blend cheese
Chopped tomatoes
Chopped green onions
How To Make Beef Tacos:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. Cook the meat in a skillet over medium high heat until completely browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 3. Reduce the heat to medium and add in the taco seasoning. Stir to combine and saute another minute or two.
Step 4. Brush one side of the pita bread with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and chili powder to taste.
And,
Step 5. Place a layer of cheese down the center of each pita bread, and a serving of the taco meat on top of that.
And,
Step 6. Wrap the filled tacos in aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7. Garnish with tomato and green onion before serving.
